Dr. Mayank is Professor of Strategy and Dean at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) at O. P. Jindal Global University (Institute of Eminence), India. In his previous assignments, Dr. Mayank has worked with premier universities in India and abroad including Shiv Nadar University, India (Institute of Eminence), Bennett University, India (Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd./ The Times group) and Technological University Dublin, Ireland. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and an M.Sc. in Marketing (First Class Honours) from Technological University Dublin, Ireland and a B.Tech. in Information Technology (First Class) from VIT University, India (Institute of Eminence). Mayank also holds certifications in various domains from University of Manchester (UK), University College Dublin (Ireland), Northern Illinois University (USA), Indian Institute of Management (India), IDEO-U (USA), LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (Denmark), Innovative Learning Solutions (USA). Mayank’s research interest is in the areas of strategic alliances, resource based and dynamic capability view and firm level capability development. His work on these research areas has been published in multiple international peer reviewed (ABDC/ABS ranked) journals and top strategy and management conferences including the Academy of Management (USA), Strategic Management Society (USA), European Academy of Management (Belgium), Academy of International Business (USA) , British Academy of Management (UK) and Irish Academy of Management (Ireland). Professor Dhaundiyal is an exceptional teacher and has been receiving top student feedback year after year, across his different courses, delivered at different institutions he has worked with, including at JGU. He employs a variety of teaching pedagogies including computer simulations, inside and outside classroom experiential activities, case studies and group projects, in addition to the more traditional class lectures. He is a firm believer in the “Socratic” and the “learning-by-doing” methods and employs them extensively to consistently achieve and exceed the learning objectives in his courses. Dr. Mayank is an accomplished institution builder and has worked and contributed towards building strong, robust and internationally bench-marked internal systems and processes, as part of his previous assignments. He frequently writes articles and opinion pieces on contemporary international and national issues and his work has been published in leading English dailies including the Times of India, Economic Times and Deccan Herald.
