Liam Detering from Deakin University in Geelong, Australia, delivered a talk on 10 February 2024 titled “The Public Diplomacy Imperatives of Understanding International Students: Aspirations and Expectations: An Australia-India Case Study.”

Rebecca Tapscott a Lecturer in Politics at the University of York, delivered a talk on “Research Ethics in the Social Sciences: Understanding Global Trends and Their Implications” for IIHEd lecture series “Thinking Thursdays” on 8 February 2024.

Worskhop organized for internal JGU faculty in collaboration with CLIP (Centre for Learning and Instructional Pedagogy)

IIHEd organized the World Universities Summit during May 2021. It also co-sponsored the STAR Scholars Network Global Conference 2022 and A. Noam Chomsky Global Connections awards ceremony.

Society of Transnational Academic Researchers (STAR) 2021 Global Conference Organized virtually from 10-12 December 2021, the conference theme was “Higher Education for the Greater Good: Leadership and Institutional Resilience”. This was a refereed global academic conference conducted annually by the STAR Scholars Society.

World Universities Summit-2021, IIHEd organized The WUS-2021 virtually from 21st to 23rd July 2021. It focused on the theme “Universities of the Future: Building Institutional Resilience, Social Responsibility and Community Impact”.

2022 STAR Global Conference Charting the Way Towards the Knowledge Economy and Society 7-8 December 2022 Co-organised by STAR Scholars and the University of Mauritius

World Universities Summit-2023, IIHED faculty members also worked with the Jindal Global Centre for G20 Studies to organize the 2023 World Universities Summit on the theme:- “Universities of the Future: Building Institutional Resilience, Social Responsibility and Community Impact in G20 Countries”

Xiuying from Xiamen University, China & Dr. Mousumi Mukherjee, O.P. Jindal Global University shared the experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to promote global citizenship and international understanding for tackling such global problems in the age of sustainable development and the challenges to education during Global Citizenship and International Understanding, Fall semester, 2021.
