WORLD UNIVERSITIES SUMMIT has been conceptualised by JGU with a vision to create a platform for universities worldwide to help shape the Universities of the Future. We aspire to explore the evolving role of universities in championing social justice and sustainable development. Through engaging discussions and shared insights, we aim to identify strategies and initiatives universities worldwide can undertake to catalyse positive social change. Recognising the urgency of Sustainable Development, the summit seeks to address how universities can lead in integrating sustainability into their core mission. From curriculum design to campus operations, we strive to uncover innovative approaches that align with environmental, social, financial and economic sustainability principles.
